EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES
After her degree in History of Art Criticism at the Paolo d’Ancona Institute of the University of Milan, with a dissertation entitled “Gustave Courbet: between ideology and artistic practice”, she began her lecturing activity by teaching History of Art at the Brera Artistic High School in Milan, followed by History of Art, Design and Visual Communication at the Institute of Art in Monza.
She has held the position of assistant at the Department of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan (alongside Mario De Micheli). She has also held various lectures at the ISIA (Higher Institute For Artistic Trade) of Urbino, as visiting professor in “History of Design” at graduate courses of the Department of Architecture at the University of Palermo (by Annamaria Fundarò) and at the Department of Literature at the University of Florence. From 1996 to 2008 she taught “Theory and History of Industrial Design” at the Department of Design at the Polytechnic University of Milan. From 2000 to 2017 she taught “History of Industrial Design” at the At Artistic Design for Industry course held at the Brera Academy of Milan.
During 2019-2020 she held a master's degree at IULM, in Milan.
She has been a member of ANISA (National Association of Teachers of Art History) and for this association she has curated (with Chiara Toschi Cavaliere) a training course in Ferrara focused on “Art and New Media” (1987).
Because of her professional background she was President of the ISIA of Faenza from 2010 to 2016 and published the book “La formazione del designer in Italia. Una storia lunga più di un secolo” (Marsilio 2015, Published in Italian).
